A rare treat for carp anglers; one of Cumbria's oldest syndicate carp waters is opening its gates to visiting anglers for the Cumbrian Angling Festival.  Under the guidance of  joint syndicate head and Cumbrian angling guide Chris Bowman for the first time since the early 1970's the lightly fished and secluded Netherby Clay Pits carp syndicate water will be allowing none members to fish it's private waters where mirror and common carp grow to over 20lb.
