Glyn has spent over twenty years on the Eden and knows the rivers character, and the nature of its salmon, as well as anyone. Join him for this captivating day on the river at Lazonby where he will guide you through the necessary steps towards your first salmon. Sorry - now fully booked

The day is aimed very much at anglers who are already reasonably competant trout fishers on either rivers or stillwaters. Much of the emphasis will be on general tactics and in particular the opportunity to use single handed rods.  Glyn will run you through everything from  safe wading to reading a river, knots, flies, tackle, fishing techniques to suit many occasions, hands on casting and whatever else may crop up.

There will aso be opportunity to try out spey casting and other double handed techniques. This is a great chance to pick Glyn's brains on any aspect of salmon fishing and to make the most of having someone there to show you exactly how it should be done.

And with plenty of good, day ticket salmon water in the region - a whole new world of fishing should start to open up.

When.  Friday 20th May  Starts at 9.30am until approx 3.30pm

What to bring.  Dress for the weather, waders, polaroids,  - all your normal fishing gear with your heaviest rated rod.

Cost £15.00 per person. This includes tuition and fishing fees.( please note that you are not able to continue fishing the beat outside of the instructional session).
