| Haweswater Browns - Tuesday 17th May |
|
A chance to experience the delights of remote Haweswater - one of our most underfished waters. We had a fantastic day here during last years festival with plenty of willing fish and it turned out to be a great place to learn. These fish rarely see a fly but that doesn't mean easy fishing, they are lightening fast and you'll miss as many as you hook. This is a full day session at a leisurely place with plenty of time for learning, fishing - and enjoying the magnificent scenery. Sorry - now fully booked
This is a small group day for just four anglers and will suit those who are already familiar with stocked waters - but would like to broaden their horizons to more challenging and wilder fisheries. We'll look at tackle, flies, and cast construction before moving on to practical fishing and the different tactics for success. Depending on the conditions some walking will be involved - although not too strenuous. Fishing is from the bank only.
