A full day course that turns bank anglers into boat anglers! It's a whole new ball game out there but you get to reach the places that others can't - and those rising fish are no longer out of reach. These sessions cover all the basics techniques of loch style fishing and will set you up with the skills you 'll need for many great fishing days ahead.

Hosted by Patrick Arnold, Esthwaite's resident instructor and accomplished boat angler. Patrick will guide you through the whole process of becoming a successful boat angler and teach the skills of boat handling, how to choose and set up drifts, tackle choice and all the varied techniques for either floating or sinking lines.

Much of the day will be spent in practical fishing for both rainbows and Esthwaites big browns. Its the perfect time of year to be out on this lake with fish active throughout the day - and every chance of a bumper bag.

This event will best suit anglers already familiar with fly fishing from the bank. Places are limited to six for each day.
