Stillwater Trout at Bigland - Thursday 20th May

Hosted by Paul Procter and Tony Riley. This was a hugely popular event last year. Informal and relaxed but with every opportunity to pick the brains of our top local instructors and learn all sorts of new methods and the latest tricks. Very much a hands on day as our instructors move around the fishery working one to one to help you improve your casting or learn new fishing techniques. You set the agenda - they solve the problems. Great day out - only a couple of places now available

lake-1The event takes place at Bigland Trout Fishery near Newby Bridge. May at Bigland is the best time to be there with big hatches of olives and falls of terrestrials. It makes a great venue for this style of event with plenty of space and plenty of opportunity to try out a variety of tactics during the day.

Come along with a clear idea of what you would like to learn  - wether thats better casting, nymphing techniques, dry fly presentation or whatever. Paul and Tony will be on hand throughout the day and will spend whatever time is needed with you to help you solve a particular problem or demonstrate a particular method.

It's a great day out with a relaxed and informal approach - but you'll be surprised how much you information you can pick up.
