Ian is based at Bessy Beck Trout Fishery near Kirkby Stephen where he offers relaxed and informal instruction in every aspect of stillwater fly fishing. The fishery is ideally suited for beginners and a great place for further practice after any tuition. He can also offer guided days on some of the wonderful rivers in the area for trout or salmon. Ian is a fully qualified and licensed Level 2 game angling coach (see fishcoach.org), he is CRB checked for working with children and is fully insured. Shelley Riddell is qualified Level 1 coaching assistant. Both have extensive game fishing experience throughout the UK..
