Gosforth AA have several miles of excellent fishing on the River Irt between Nether Wasdale and Santon Bridge. The Irt holds some very large sea trout and enjoys a decent late run of salmon. Membership is mostly reserved for residents of the local area although a limited number of associate memberships are available.
