Wood House offers the choice of either comfortable guest house accommodation or a self catering cottage - both in a spectacular setting overlooking Crummock Water. This an excellent base for fishing the western lakes with Buttermere and Loweswater also on the doorstep. There is easy access to the Derwent and several other local fisheries.
Wood House has boats available on Crummock which can offer superb fly fishing for wild brown trout especuially in the early part of the season.
