THAT'S IT FOR 2010!
Phew ! - that was a busy week. At the final tally almost 500 anglers took part in some 50 fishing and coaching events at getting on for 30 venues around the region. For once the weather was kind and for the most part even the fish were cooperative.
All I can say is a very, very big thanks to all the instructors and others who were involved in making this years Festival such a resounding success. On top of that a special thanks should also go to the following:
Dave Stocker for his unbounded enthusiasm and PR skills.
Ian and Shelly Riddell for the 'loan' of Bessy Beck and likewise Dan and George Garton at New Mills, Simon Robinson at Farletonview. Kath Blackett at Bigland and David Coleman at Esthwaite.
Hardy Greys for the loan of their Academy team members.
And last but certainly not least ; The Environment Agency for their generous funding and invaluable practical support.
Don't forget to come back to this page in February 2011 for all the info on next years Festival.
