The Lake District and Cumbria is a magically beautiful region of high peaks, open fells, lakes and sparkling rivers. The region offers some tremendous fishing set amidst scenery that is invariably spectacular, at times challenging but often surprisingly intimate.

Cumbria is not just the Lake District. This large county also encompasses quieter, less frequented areas with a unique quality all of their own. The Eden Valley, the West Cumbrian coast and parts of the Yorkshire Dales National Park all fall within our boundaries. These areas see fewer visitors and still hold many waters that remain relatively underfished.

Although the site is compiled and managed by WADAA it is also intended to act as a focal point for Cumbrian angling generally with fishing reports, news, club details and all the other bits and pieces of information that anglers need to keep themselves up to date and find their way around.
