Our Cumbria Fishing Festival takes place in May each year and offers plenty of opportunities to have a go at fishing for the first time - or for more experienced anglers to brush up on their skills.

Events take place at numerous venues around the county and cover all aspects of fishing. For beginners there are several introductory events where our coaches will guide you through your first steps and provide you with all the tackle and coaching you need to catch that all important first fish.

More experienced anglers can sign up for one of the many 'Masterclasses' that focus in much more detail on particular skills - be that casting for salmon, through to fly fishing for pike and mullet.

Youngsters and families are especially welcome and our weekend family days are just the ticket for something different
