Coarse Membership
WADAA Coarse Membership provides access to eight excellent coarse fisheries accross South Cumbria - all of them in exceptionally scenic locations and offering the full range of angling opportunities for all coarse species.

Ratherheath Tarn, Atkinsons Tarn, Cleabarrow Tarn and Castle Head Fishery are well managed stocked waters strictly reserved for members. They hold excellent stocks of carp, specimen tench and large bream along with roach, rudd and perch. The carp fishing is superb with Ratherheath Tarn in particular developing into Cumbria's top carp fishery. Overnight fishing is available on both Cleabarrow Tarn and Atkinsons Tarn. Match and pole anglers are also well catered for with prolific stocks of silver fish. Both Cleabarrow Tarn and Castle Head are noted for their exceptional tench fishing with specimens over 8lbs taken regularly each year.

Grasmere, Rydal Water, Blelham Tarn and Thirlmere are noted pike waters with the first three reguarly producing 20lb plus fish. Thirlmere pike are smaller but few fisheries can match the dramatic surroundings. Although these waters are generally fished for pike they are less commonly fished for the specimen perch and roach that are present in sunstantial numbers.

Coarse members may also use the clubs exchange permit for Ribchester's water on the Ribble which gives WADAA Members access to some excellent river fishing for large barbel and chub.
