There are several types of WADAA membership depending on your age, where you live and the type of fishing you prefer. In common with many angling associations, WADAA has a separate membership rate for those residing in our ‘local area’. (residing means listed on the electoral register) The ‘local’ area is defined as a radius of ten miles from St Mary’s Church, Ambleside, a three mile radius of the weir at Newby Bridge or within any part of the Cartmel peninsula south of the A590 and bounded by the River Leven to the west and the River Winster to the east.
If you live outside this local area you may join as either an Associate, Wild Trout or Coarse Member and still enjoy exactly the same fishing and facilities as local members. There are no residency restrictions for Junior or Youth Members. All memberships run from 1st January to 31st December. There are no part year memberships or reductions for joining later in the year. Ages are taken to be those at the date of joining. Fees shown are inclusive of the £30.00 initial joining fee.
For anglers resident in the local area;
For anglers resident outside the local area;
For younger anglers; (no joining fee)
